<p>W3C hosts this five day event <strong><a
href="http://www.w3.org/2002/09/TPOverview.html">once a year</a></strong> to
allow Working Groups (WG) and Interest Groups (IG) to hold their face to face
meetings in one place and have the opportunity to <strong>meet and
liaise</strong> with participants from other groups.</p>
<h2 style="clear:left"><a name="sponsor" id="sponsor">Sponsorship:</a></h2>
<p>You are cordially invited to sponsor the 2005 Technical Plenary Week.
Following in the footsteps of the successful sponsorship programs developed
for the 2004 Tech Plenary Week and the recent 10th anniversary celebration of
the Consortium (W3C10), we expect you will want to consider participating in
the program for this meeting.</p>
<p>A record number of Working Groups registered to participate in Boston in
2005, and hence the TP week 2005's edition provides a unique marketing
opportunity to reach those who are engineering solutions and making decisions
that are leading the Web to its full potential. The details of three
sponsorship packages are given in the <a
href="http://www.w3.org/2005/02/sponsoring.html.en">TP05 Sponsorship
Agreement</a>.</p>
<p>For further information and expression of interest, please contact
Marie-Claire Forgue (<a href="mailto:marie@w3.org">marie@w3.org</a>,
phone:+33 4 92 38 75 94) or Steve Bratt (<a
href="mailto:steve@w3.org">steve@w3.org</a> , phone:+1 617 253 7697). The
deadline for requesting to take part in this opportunity is 10 February
2005.</p>
<h2><a id="Participation1" name="Participation1">Participation:</a></h2>
<p>Participation is open to <strong>people involved in W3C

Working or Interest group, you should either have a member or <a
href="http://cgi.w3.org/MemberAccess/Public">public account</a> that will let
you use the registration form below.</p>
<p>The Wednesday plenary session is open to the WG and IG participants but
also by <strong>invitation</strong> to guests (e.g. potential members,
external liaison contacts). The invitation should come only from the staff or
the W3C offices staff. The proceedings should <strong>not</strong> be
considered member confidential.</p>
<p>For the Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday WG and IG meetings,
participation is subject to <strong>each group's policy</strong>. Please
contact the WG or IG Chair for information about participation policy.</p>
<p>Consult the list of <a href="/Member/Mail/">Working Group Chairs</a>
